DLC Sells Randhurst Village After Retail Repositioning Push
DLC has sold Randhurst Village following a redevelopment effort that included anchor conversions, new retailers, and a dining destination.
DLC, a major owner and operator of open-air shopping centers based in Elmsford, N.Y., has completed the sale of Randhurst Village, the company announced Sept. 24, 2026. The divestiture follows a deliberate repositioning strategy the firm executed at the property before bringing it to market.
The redevelopment effort included significant anchor tenant conversions, the addition of retailers that were new to the center, and the creation of a local dining destination designed to attract repeat visits and broaden the property's consumer appeal. Such strategies have become increasingly common among open-air center operators seeking to replace legacy anchors and drive foot traffic in a shifting retail environment.

DLC's approach at Randhurst Village reflects a broader industry trend in which landlords invest in transformative leasing programs to stabilize and revalue assets before executing an exit. By curating a mix of experiential and food-and-beverage tenants alongside traditional retail, operators aim to make open-air centers more resilient against e-commerce headwinds.
The sale represents the completion of DLC's value-creation cycle at the property. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed in the company's announcement. DLC continues to operate a national portfolio of open-air shopping centers across the United States.
