Edelson Lechtzin LLP said the breach potentially exposed victims' names, Social Security numbers, and sensitive health information. The San Diego-based pharmacy benefit manager, MedImpact, serves millions of patients and health plan members across the United States, making the scope of potential exposure a significant concern for consumer advocates.

The firm is offering free case evaluations to anyone who believes they may have been affected by the incident.
