NatGold Digital Delists NATG Token From MEXC After U.S. Treasury Action
NatGold Digital has requested immediate removal of its NATG token from crypto exchange MEXC following action by the U.S. Treasury Department.
NatGold Digital Ltd. has moved to delist its NatGold Token, ticker NATG, from MEXC, a globally operating cryptocurrency exchange, the Florida-based company announced Thursday. The delisting was requested with immediate effect and follows action taken by the U.S. Treasury Department, according to the company.
The Coral Gables company described the move as a direct response to the Treasury action, though the precise nature of that regulatory measure was not disclosed in full in the announcement. MEXC currently lists NATG among its tradable digital assets, making the delisting request a significant operational step for the token's market availability.

The decision underscores the growing compliance pressures facing cryptocurrency issuers operating in U.S.-adjacent regulatory environments. When a government body such as the Treasury acts against a token or its issuer, exchanges and issuers often move quickly to limit exposure, and delisting from a major platform can substantially reduce a token's liquidity and visibility in global markets.
NatGold Digital did not indicate in its announcement whether it planned to seek alternative listings on other exchanges or whether additional regulatory disclosures would follow. The speed of the requested delisting — described as taking effect immediately — suggests the company is prioritizing regulatory compliance over maintaining trading volume on MEXC.
