Hedera Donates Cross-Ledger Protocol Code to Linux Foundation
Hedera's Hashgraph unit contributed its CLPR bridgeless protocol to Linux Foundation Decentralized Trust Labs and is seeking early adopters.
Hedera's Hashgraph division has contributed its Cross-Ledger Protocol Reference (CLPR) to the Linux Foundation's Decentralized Trust Labs, a move designed to broaden developer access to a new bridgeless method of moving assets across blockchain networks without relying on traditional bridge infrastructure.
The code contribution opens the protocol to the wider open-source development community, allowing engineers to experiment with and build upon the technology under the governance framework of the Linux Foundation, one of the most established neutral homes for collaborative software projects.

Alongside the code donation, Hashgraph is actively recruiting participants for its Cross-Ledger Early Adopter Program. Accepted participants receive full access to a Hashgraph-hosted testnet environment, enabling hands-on testing of the protocol before broader deployment.
Bridgeless cross-ledger technology addresses a persistent pain point in the blockchain industry: the security vulnerabilities and complexity associated with conventional cross-chain bridges, which have been the target of several high-profile exploits in recent years. By contributing CLPR to a neutral open-source body, Hedera signals an intent to position the protocol as an industry standard rather than a proprietary offering.
Developers and organizations interested in shaping the protocol's early development can apply through the Cross-Ledger Early Adopter Program to gain testnet access. Continue reading at All Financial Services & Investing.
